Description

The BMW CAS (car access system) manufactured by Siemens VDO, commonly suffers from internal hardware and software failures resulting in intermittent to complete none start of the affected vehicles. If the vehicle can be scanned with diagnostics equipment, a faulty CAS module may log fault codes such as A0AA (control unit signal faulty) and A0C1 (CAS output terminal 50).
